The people of Ziemia, collectively known as Ziemians or simply humans, are broadly divided into two categories: Emberi and Allat. Emberis resemble Homo sapiens but possess distinct animal features such as animal ears, tails, horns, or feathers. In contrast, Allat Ziemians are near-fully animalistic in form, yet retain human-level intelligence and walk upright. The range of animal traits across the population is remarkably diverse, extending beyond typical biological classifications to include avian wings capable of flight, iridescent reptilian scales, and even subtle bioluminescence, suggesting a history of extensive genetic manipulation.

In most modern nations, Emberis and Allats are considered equal members of society. However, it is common for people with similar features to congregate in certain regions and Nations, which unfortunately has led to the development of prejudice and stereotypes between different groups.

Despite this phenotypic diversity, Ziemians are biologically identical to Homo sapiens in terms of reproduction, and interracial relationships are common. Offspring tend to inherit similar traits when parents are of similar races, but if parents are of vastly different races, the child will typically inherit the traits of one parent or the other.
