Beyond the colossal Nomad Cities, another class of formidable vehicle, the Landship, also traverses the landscape of Ziemia. These are not designed to shepherd entire populations but rather serve as highly mobile, self-contained fortresses and operational hubs for specialized organizations with distinct objectives. From the relentless pursuit of vital resources by corporate prospectors to the groundbreaking research of independent scientific enclaves, and the heavily armed patrols of private military corporations, Landships are the workhorses and vanguard of those who operate on the fringes and beyond the established routes of civilization.

While still large, Landships are far smaller and more streamlined than Ark Units. Their designs often reflect their purpose, with military variants boasting heavier armor and weapon emplacements, while research vessels might feature extensive external sensor arrays and specialized docking bays for smaller exploration vehicles. Landships are built for extended independent operation. They incorporate advanced internal recycling systems, efficient Stygium reactors tailored to their size, and often carry specialized equipment for on-site resource acquisition relevant to their mission (e.g., mobile labs for analyzing Flora and Fauna, or fabrication units for producing specific tools or military hardware).

Landships usually operate independently of Nomad Cities, following their own agendas and schedules. They might establish temporary outposts or conduct expeditions far from the established routes of the larger settlements. Their interactions with the larger settlements are often transactional—trading gathered resources or specialized services for essential supplies or advanced technologies they cannot produce themselves. However, the independent nature of Landships can also lead to friction and conflict. Competition for valuable resource deposits, disagreements over territorial claims, or even suspicion of their secretive activities can create tension between these mobile fortresses and the established powers within the Cities.
